By accessing or using Commands.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Commands.com is a platform that allows users to:

• Share, discover, and use command-line scripts and AI prompts
• Create creator profiles and showcase their contributions
• Upload and share media files related to their commands and prompts
• Engage with community content through likes and copies

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
• One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one account

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

By submitting content to Commands.com, you:

• Retain ownership of your intellectual property rights
• Grant Commands.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your content
• Represent and warrant that you have the right to submit the content
• Acknowledge that other users may copy, modify, and use your shared commands and prompts

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that:

• Infringes any intellectual property rights
• Contains malicious code, malware, or harmful scripts
• Is illegal, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
• Contains personal information of others without consent
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Is spam or misleading
• Could damage or interfere with the Service

4.3 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms
• We may review content before or after it is posted
• We are not responsible for user-generated content

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purposes
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Service Content

The Service and its original content (excluding user content) are owned by Commands.com and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6.2 User Content License

When you submit content labeled as "CLI Command" or "AI Prompt", you grant all users of the Service a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and distribute that content.

6.3 Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief
• A statement of accuracy and authorization

7. Creator Profiles and Community Features

7.1 Creator Profiles

• You may create one creator profile per account
• Profile information must be accurate and not misleading
• You are responsible for maintaining your profile

7.2 Community Metrics

• Likes, copies, and other metrics are provided as-is
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of community metrics
• Manipulation of metrics through artificial means is prohibited

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Data Collection

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:

• Account information (email, display name)
• Content you submit
• Usage data and analytics
• Authentication tokens

8.2 Data Security

• We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
• You acknowledge that no internet transmission is completely secure
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

9. Payment Terms and Creator Monetization

9.1 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed through Stripe Connect
• You must comply with Stripe's terms of service and acceptable use policies
• We do not store your payment information on our servers
• Payment disputes are handled through Stripe's dispute resolution process

9.2 Creator Revenue and Payouts

• Creators receive payments directly from purchasers through Stripe Connect
• Commands.com retains a 15% platform fee from each transaction
• Payouts are subject to Stripe's payout schedule and policies
• Creators are responsible for their own tax reporting and compliance
• You must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payments

9.3 Pricing and Content Monetization

• Creators may set prices for their content using predefined pricing tiers
• Available pricing options: Free, $0.99, $1.99, $2.99, $4.99, $9.99, $19.99
• Pricing must be set at the time of content creation
• Price changes after publication are not permitted
• Free content remains free permanently

9.4 Refunds and Disputes

• All sales are final unless required by applicable law
• Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase
• Refunds are at the sole discretion of the creator, not Commands.com
• Payment disputes should be initiated through Stripe's dispute process
• We may facilitate refunds in cases of technical errors or service failures

9.5 Purchase Terms

• Purchases grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content
• You may not resell, redistribute, or commercialize purchased content
• Access to purchased content is tied to your account
• We do not guarantee continued availability of purchased content

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication for user authentication. By using our Service, you also agree to Firebase's terms of service.

10.2 Content Delivery

We use AWS services (S3, CloudFront) for content storage and delivery. Your uploaded content is subject to AWS's terms of service.

10.3 Payment Processing

We use Stripe for payment processing. By making purchases or connecting a creator account, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

11.1 Service Availability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time

11.2 Content Disclaimer

• We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content
• You use commands and prompts at your own risk
• We are not responsible for any damage caused by user content

11.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Commands.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Commands.com, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Posting the new Terms on the Service
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending notice to registered users (at our discretion)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

14.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

14.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal activities
• Harmful behavior toward other users or the Service

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

You may pursue claims in small claims court if eligible. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Commands.com regarding the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

18. Additional Terms for Specific Features

18.1 Gallery Uploads

• Maximum 5 files per command/prompt
• Maximum 10MB per file
• Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, MP4, MOV, WebM
• Uploaded files are processed and stored on AWS infrastructure
• We reserve the right to compress or optimize uploaded media

18.2 Command Execution

• Users execute commands and prompts entirely at their own risk
• Always review and understand code before execution
• We strongly recommend testing in safe environments first
• We are not liable for any system damage or data loss
